PAU’s first member cruise is on 8-9 February 2025 on Tallink Victoria. The union and some of its local branches pay some of the costs of the cruise for its members.
Tallink Victoria I ship departs from Länsiterminaali (Länsiterminaali 2, Tyynenmerenkatu 14, Helsinki) on Saturday 8 February 2025 at 18.35. Check-in (ticket distribution) opens two hours earlier, and boarding begins at 17.45. It’s good to be there on time. We will arrive in Tallinn at 22.00 at D-terminal.
PAUs information point is on the ship’s conference deck where you will get information and props for the cruise. On Sunday 9 February 2025, you can visit Tallinn between 8.00 and 12.00 o’clock.
The ship has many restaurants, including Grande Buffet and Grill House, as well as the Starlight nightclub. A Finnish party band will be playing in the nightclub.
PAU has reserved a conference room for 280 people from the conference deck on Sunday, starting at 12.00. Come and hear the latest news from the union and the postal sector in the current affairs review by Chairman Heidi Nieminen, and ask any questions you may have. The review is held in Finnish.
The ship returns to Helsinki on Sunday at 16.00, according to the schedule.
Register Now - Limited Places Available
PAU has reserved 150 A-class cabins (1-2 people), 10 A-Premium cabins (1-2 people, double bed), and 100 B-class cabins (1-2 people). A-Premium class cabins are sold out.
We have reserved meals from Grande Buffet. The meals and beverages are included in the cruise price. Dinner on the outbound journey starts at 20.45. On Sunday, breakfast starts at 7.00, and lunch at 14.15. The entire dinner buffet is reserved for PAU members, max. 400 people. If more than 400 members come to the cruise, they will have their dinner buffet in an earlier seating as long as there are seats left. Therefore, it is advisable to register as soon as possible. Table reservations must be claimed from the restaurant no later than 15 minutes after the seating starts.
Cruise price including all meals and a cabin for two people:
- B-class cabin €90 per person (non-members €130)
- A-class cabin €100 per person (non-members €140)
Register for the member cruise primarily through your local branch. Register by 6 January 2025. Places are limited. Ask your branch if they are paying some of the costs. You can also check the support from the branches here.

The payment for the trip, e.g., A-cabin €100 minus branch support, must be paid by 6 January 2025. Payment recipient: Post and Logistics Union PAU ry, account number FI66 5541 2810 0001 59. Message: Member Cruise and the name(s) of the traveler(s). You can pay for multiple people at once.
Remember to bring either a valid passport or ID card for the cruise. Please note that a driver’s license is not a travel document or an official ID. If you need other documentation (ie a valid residence permit card), take them with you as well. The cruise will go outside of the border of Finland.
